Firstly, congratulations! If you’re on this page you must be searching for a Maternity Photographer in Barnsley and surrounding areas. What an exciting time. This time is also filled with lots of preparations; the nursery, all the appointments and so much more. So, we often forget to take time out for ourselves and truly enjoy our bump. And, before we know it, they are here, and you’re already missing the bump and all the little kicks. Maternity Photography is an amazing way to remember this time and capture your beautiful bump. After all, it’s the beginning of your journey to motherhood.

Here, at Anna Kireeva Photography, you can choose to have an outdoor session with all the gorgeous colours of Yorkshire. Or a relaxed, neutral studio session.

Whether you book an outdoor session or studio, I like to keep them quite relaxed and natural. We have a chat and a laugh whilst taking some beautiful images with a little posing guidance from me.

WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?

This depends on whether you book a studio or an outdoor session.

If you decide on a studio, your shoot will take place in the comfort of my own home, based in Dodworth, Barnsley, just minutes away from the M1.

An outdoor session will take place in and around Barnsley, I am always on the look out for beautiful places. Once you have booked your session, depending on the season, we will confirm the exact location.

CAN I BRING A PARTNER OR CHILDREN?

Yes, absolutley! Dads are just as excited about your new baby on the way. And not to mention it’s just amazing capturing the connection between your bump and the dad to be!

And same goes for children, I absolutley love capturing older siblings with mum and bump, they are often so excited to be involved in the shoot too.

WHEN TO BOOK YOUR SESSION FOR?

Your session usually takes place in the last trimester.

It can vary, but from around 28 weeks when you have a beautful bump and just before your last few weeks, is a great time.

By this point, you will have a gorgeous bump to show off and not be overly tired.

WHAT TO WEAR

This really depends on whether you book a studio session or outdoor. But generally, flowing dresses always work well, they create beautiful shape and show off your bump really well.

Mainly, I tend to stick with white or earthy and neutral tones.

When you book your shoot, we will go through, style, colour and a just few different options on clothing choice.

WHEN DO I SEE MY FINAL IMAGES?

It takes up to 2 weeks of editing time. We will book your in person viewing session closer to time. This is where you come back to view a beautiful slideshow with your images. We will then go through which photos you would like printing and any wall art you may wish to purchase too.
